Up to now Tasmania’s migration program remains open.
However, due to the upcoming changes to the General Skilled Migration Program, the Department of Home Affairs announced earlier this year, several 10th September is the last day Tasmania will accept applications for State Nominations under the 489 and 190 visa program.
NOTE: The regional skilled migration program is currently experiencing a bottleneck situation in several states, causing further restrictions implemented by individual states in order to manage the high demand for state nominations.
