The Australian Department of Home Affairs launched today a new fast track service for highly skilled migrants in select key industries. This new scheme will fast track suitable candidates to obtain permanent residency in Australia.
For this current 2019-20 financial year, 5000 places have been allocated for applicants, who have skills in one of the following key industries:
- AgTech
- FinTech
- MedTech
- Cyber Security
- Energy and Mining
- Space and Advanced Manufacturing
- Quantum Information/Advanced Digital/Data Science and ICT
Candidates will need to show that they’re highly skilled in their area of expertise and are likely to earn more than A$ 149,000 pa in Australia.
