Due to the current and ongoing crisis caused by the Corona virus, the Australian government decided to extend the existing travel ban for all foreign nationals travelling from mainland China for another week.
The existing travel ban has been in place since the 1st of February and was meant to end this Friday, the 14th of February 2020. However, as it was announced today, the ban will be extended for another week.
This ban affects all foreign nationals, travelling from or transiting through mainland China.
Excluded are Australian citizens, permanent residents or their immediate family members.
