Victoria reopens skilled visa nomination program

Yesterday the Victorian government announced to reopen the skilled visa nomination program for the following subclasses:

  • Skilled Nominated (s/c 190) visa (permanent)
  • Skilled Work Regional (s/c 491) visa (provisional)

The requirements for nomination under the above mentioned programs are:

Skilled Nominated (190)

  • Already be living in Victoria
  • Already be working in Victoria for at least 6 months in a highly skilled occupation in health, medical research or life science which supports Victoria’s economic recovery and/or health response

Skilled Work Regional (491)

  • Already be living in regional Victoria
  • Already be working for at least 3 months in a highly skilled occupation in health, medical research, life sciences, agri-food or digital sectors which supports Victoria’s economic recovery and/or health response
